Said to have some of the blackest steams and leaves of the Hoya world!
Pointed narrow leaves, with an abundance of splash, measuring up to 18cm x 6cm. Foliage pink when sunstressed. Stems and new growth are often deep plumb-black colour.
Blooms: Stunning star-shaped flowers on black stems in pink-grey-black tones, measuring 20mm across. Up to 30 flowers per umbel. A strong, sweet fragrance. Clear nectar. Flowers last up to 7 days. Sun exposure: Medium to bright indirect light. Water requirement: Prefers well-draining open mix. Water less in winter. Maintenance: Low. Fertilise in growing period. Special note: Easy to grow. WAOL permitted. Cool hoya: best suited to temperatures between 10-25C.
