Gorgeous flowers!

Fast growing. Compact growth habit with dark green, leathery leaves measuring up to 12cm x 7cm. Immature foliage is reddish/brown initially.

Blooms: Almost flat, star-shaped flowers in glorious shades of white and pink, measuring 25mm across, with pink-centred white corona. Up to 20 flowers per umbel. Nectar producing. Sweet fragrance. Last for up to 8 days.
Sun exposure: Flowers well in high levels of bright indirect light.
Water requirement: Prefers well-draining open mix. Likes high levels of humidity. Water less in winter.
Maintenance: Requires strong support and training from early days. Half strength doses of fertiliser in growing period.
Special note: WAOL permitted. Full name - Hoya naumannii Solomon Islands IML 0198. Possibly H. australis x H. subcalva. Intermediate hoya: best suited to temperatures between 15-35C.
