Hoya minahassae IML 1863 H259

Firm, lanceolate leaves, measuring 8cm x 4cm, turning stunning shades of red–plum in high levels of light.

Blooms: Star-shaped flowers in buttercup yellow, up to 15mm in diameter, with darker yellow corona. Up to 10 flowers per umbel. Small amounts of nectar. Sweet, citrus fragrance. Flowers last up to 10 days.
Sun exposure: Flowers well in bright, indirect light.
Water requirement: Water thoroughly and allow to dry out. Prefers well-draining open mix. Water less in winter.
Maintenance: Low. Half strength doses of fertiliser in growing period.
Special note: WAOL permitted. Full name - Hoya minahassae Sulawesi GPS8875 IML 1863. Intermediate hoya: best suited to temperatures between 15-35C.
