What a beauty!
Glossy, round, silver-green leaves (resembling silver dollars) that are thick and leathery with a distinct central vein, measuring up to 15cm x 5cm.
Blooms: Gorgeous pink-tipped white flowers up to 15mm across, with red-centred white corona. Up to 20 flowers per umbel. Sweet fragrance.
Sun exposure: Prefers bright, indirect light. In the right lighting conditions, foliage can take on stunning hues of pink, lavender and purple.
Water requirement: Prefers well-draining open mix. Water less in winter.
Maintenance: Low. Half strength doses of fertiliser in growing period.
Special note: A superb, stable Hoya MB001 x Hoya meliflua hybrid by Mike Bernado. Handle plant foliage carefully as damage can leave permanent markings. Best if young stems are gently trained before they harden and become brittle. Intermediate hoya: best suited to warm temperatures between 15-35C.
Each living plant is unique and may vary in size, colour, or shape depending on the season. Flowering plants are sent when available. Plants are sent bare-rooted.
