Big, big flowers on this big, big girl! One of the biggest flowers in the genus!

Leathery, light green leaves with central vein, wavy edges, approximately 15cm x 6cm, on robust vines. Loves to twine. Vigorous grower.

Blooms: Breathtaking, waxy, cup-shaped flowers in red, 100mm in diameter, with white corona. Up to 10 flowers per umbel. Sweet, spicy fragrance, particularly noticeable in the evening. Nectar producing. Flowers last up to 15 days.
Sun exposure: Bright filtered light. Enjoys warmth and humidity.
Water requirement: Low. Allow mix to dry out considerably between waterings.
Maintenance: Low. Doses of half-strength fertiliser during growth period.
Special note: WAOL permitted. Requires plenty of space and good support. Train early as vines harden quickly and can snap. Rarely available.
