The beginner’s hoya – fast-growing, fast-flowering and easy to grow.
Attractive pale green leaves with dark green veins.
Blooms: White star-shaped flowers, measuring 17mm across with red corona. Up to 60 flowers per umbel. Sweet-smelling fragrance. Flowers last for up to 10 days.
Sun exposure: Medium to bright indirect light.
Water requirement: Prefers well-draining open mix. Water less in winter.
Maintenance: Low. Half strength doses of fertiliser in growing period.
