Graceful, trailing form, well-suited to a hanging basket.
Unique and delicate foliage – elliptic to ovate leaves measuring up to 3cm x 1.5cm, covered with a dense wax and containing a milky sap.
Blooms: Dainty, bell-shaped creamy-white flowers which grow in clusters, especially during warmer months.
Sun exposure: Best in bright indirect light to showcase foliage.
Water requirement: Thrives on high levels of humidity. Mist foliage daily. Allow soil to almost dry out before watering. Submerge in container of water until air bubbles dissipate or gently hose. Will not tolerate roots being overly damp.
Maintenance: Low. Repot annually. Half strength doses of liquid fertiliser at the beginning of Spring and Summer.
Special note: Full name - Dischidia litoralis Iron Ra. T. Ford IML 1906. WAOL permitted. Close relative of hoya. Roots on this species are often very fine.
Each living plant is unique and may vary in size, colour, or shape depending on the season. Flowering plants are sent when available. Plants are sent bare-rooted.
