Hoya occultata H461

Very unique blooms.

Thin, medium green leaves with pinnate venation, measuring 10cm x 3.5cm.

Blooms: Urn-shaped, reflexed flowers measuring 150mm, slightly pubescent, white at the base and turning deep yellow at the tips. White corona with gold centre. Up to 15 flowers per umbel. No discernible fragrance. Flowers last up to 2-3 weeks. Blooms profusely. The name means ‘hidden’, referring to the fact that the corolla envelopes the inner corolla and it is, therefore, hidden from sight.
Sun exposure: Requires bright and warm growing conditions.
Water requirement: Thin leaved hoyas need to be watered frequently. Water less in winter.
Maintenance: Low. Half strength doses of fertilise in warmer months.
Special note: Shrubby growth habit. Prune to promote branching. Similar to H. irisiae. Intermediate hoya: best suited to temperatures between 15-35C.

Each living plant is unique and may vary in size, colour, or shape depending on the season. Flowering plants are sent when available. Plants are sent bare-rooted.
