Hoya verticillata (Chiang Mai) H23

The beginner’s hoya – fast-growing, fast-flowering and easy to grow.

Beautiful shiny, large leaves with conspicuous veins, up to 11cm x 6cm. Foliage will become bright red when grown in bright light.

Blooms: Reflexed sandy-yellow coloured flowers measuring up to 10mm with bright yellow-centred white corona. Up to 30 flowers per umbel. Very pretty and pleasantly fragrant. Flowers easily. Flowers last up to 7 days.
Sun exposure: Bright indirect light.
Water requirement: Prefers well-drained, open mix. Water less in winter.
Maintenance: Low. Fertilise in growing period.
Special note: Collector's Number 5. WAOL permitted. Often develops gorgeous red / purple beauty spots in response to light exposure. Formerly H. pottsii Chiang Mai. Intermediate hoya: best suited to temperatures between 15-35C.
