Unique, light green, coin-shaped foliage – elliptic leaves measuring up to 5.5cm x 4.5cm. Smooth, round stems covered in white powder and containing an exceptionally sticky milky sap.
Blooms: Dainty, bell-shaped creamy-yellow flowers which grow in clusters of up to 8, especially during warmer months.
Sun exposure: Best in bright indirect light to showcase foliage.
Water requirement: Thrives on high levels of humidity. Mist foliage daily. Allow soil to almost dry out before watering. Submerge in container of water until air bubbles dissipate or gently hose. Will not tolerate roots being overly damp.
Maintenance: Low. Repot annually. Half strength doses of liquid fertiliser at the beginning of Spring and Summer.
Special note: Full name - Dischidia tonsuensis IPPS8843 IML 1376. WAOL permitted. Cold sensitive - best to winter indoors. Close relative of hoya. Roots on this species are often very fine.
