Hoya lauterbachii H1

Flowers the size of small coffee cups! Phenomenal in its colour, form and fragrance! One of the largest hoyas in existence.

Pubescent foliage.

Blooms: Vivid reddish/copper-coloured flowers measuring 80mm across, with cream centre. Flower covered in fine hairs, both inside and out. Up to 7-8 flowers per umbel, measuring close to the size of a soccer ball. Delicious fragrance much like chocolate lollies!
Sun exposure: Requires plenty of bright, filtered light in order to flower and warm growing conditions.
Water requirement: Periods of dryness between waterings work best. Prefers well-draining, loose mix. Water less in winter.
Maintenance: Low. Fertilise in growing period.
Special note: Classified as an 'eriostemma' - pubescent foliage, light-loving and warmth-loving. Collector’s Number 91. WAOL permitted. Warm: best suited to temperatures between 21-35C.
