Elegant leaf form with all the ‘watermelon’ markings, measuring 3cm x 1.5cm.

Well suited to a hanging basket.

Blooms: Dainty, bell-shaped yellow-green flowers with purplish markings which grow especially during warmer months.
Sun exposure: Best in bright, indirect light to showcase foliage.
Water requirement: Thrives on high levels of humidity. Mist foliage daily. Allow soil to almost dry out before watering. Submerge in container of water until air bubbles dissipate or gently hose. Will not tolerate roots being overly damp.
Maintenance: Low. Repot annually. Half strength doses of liquid fertiliser at the beginning of Spring and Summer.
Special note: Full name - Dischidia ovata Pandanus Creek - narrow leaf DL IML 0446. WAOL permitted. Close relative of hoya. Known as the ‘watermelon’ dischidia. Roots on this species are often very fine. Order limits apply.
