Collector’s must-have!
Elongated leaves that are hard and leathery with dark purple margins and wonderful bright venation. Leaves exposed to the sun are richly red.
Blooms: Delightful star-shaped orange-gold flowers, measuring 12mm, with a gold-centred white corona. Up to 20 flowers per umbel. Very lightly perfumed.
Sun exposure: Prefers bright indirect light. Loves heat and humidity.
Water requirement: Do not overwater. Prefers well-drained, open mix. Water less in winter.
Maintenance: Low. Fertilise in growing period.
Special note: WAOL permitted. Full name - Hoya vitellina IPPS7203 Java IML 1348. Intermediate hoya: best suited to temperatures between 15-35C.
