Hoya 'Tequila Sunrise' H449

Incredible foliage, turning vibrant hues of orange / fiery red when exposed to high levels of sunlight.

Striking leaves with glorious dark venation, measuring up to 15cm x 9cm, becoming firm with maturity.

Blooms: Star-shaped yellow flowers, 12mm in diameter, with orange tips, and pale yellow corona. Up to 25 flowers per umbel. 
Sun exposure: Requires bright and warm growing conditions. Flowers better under higher levels of indirect sunshine, as well as producing beautiful sun-stressed foliage.
Water requirement: Keep moist in warmer months. Prefers well-draining, open mix. Water less in winter.
Maintenance: Low. Half strength doses of fertiliser in growing period (warmer months).
Special note: Rare cultivar. Warm hoya: best suited to warm temperatures between 21-35C.
