Loved for its leaves!

Shiny, richly–felted stems and leaves with distinct indentations, dark green venation and ruffled leaf margins, measuring 14cm x 4cm. Very red when grown in strong sunlight.

Blooms: Dreamy dusty-pink star-shaped flowers, 13mm across, with hot pink-centred pale pink corona. Up to 35 flowers per umbel. Light pleasant fragrance.
Sun exposure: Medium to bright indirect light.
Water requirement: Prefers well-draining open mix. Water less in winter.
Maintenance: Low. Half strength doses of fertiliser in growing period.
Special note: WAOL permitted. Formerly Hoya sp. Welsh Mountain Zoo IML 0905. Recently reclassified as Hoya globulosa.
