Easy to grow - easy to bloom!

Foliage like H. carnosa and flowers like H. pubicalyx. Fleshy, green leaves with sparse silver flecks.

Blooms: Felted star-shaped flowers in a red / purple colour, measuring 18mm across, with matching corona. Up to 40 flowers per umbel. Wonderful sweet-smelling fragrance. Flowers last for up to 7 days.
Sun exposure: Prefers bright indirect light.
Water requirement: Has a preference for well-draining open mix. Water less in winter.
Maintenance: Low. Half strength doses of fertiliser in growing period.
Special note: A rare and exquisite species. Full name - Hoya sp. Ban Ngong Ngoy Thailand IML 1514. Intermediate hoya: best suited to temperatures between 15-35C.
