There is no denying that …. it’s hip to be Square!

Gorgeous foliage on this hipster species! Rectangular leaves in dark green with distinctive darker leaf margins; smooth on the upper surface and lightly felted underneath, measuring up to 5cm x 2.5cm, on a winding stem.

Blooms:  Pubescent, revolute flowers in white – pale pink, measuring 20mm, with matching pink-centred, off-white corona. Approximately 20 flowers per umbel. Gentle, sweet perfume. Flowers last for up to 7 days.
Sun exposure: Medium to bright indirect light.
Water requirement: Prefers well-draining open mix. Water less in winter.
Maintenance: Low. Half strength doses of fertiliser in growing period.
Special note: WAOL permitted, Collector’s Number 147. Formerly H. sp. Square. Intermediate hoya: best suited to temperatures between 15-35C.
