Long, narrow leaves in bright green, up to 18cm x 6cm, featuring glorious silver streaks. Stems and new growth is often purple.
Blooms: Felted star-shaped flowers in shades of dark pink – burgundy, measuring 20mm across, with red-centred white corona. Up to 30 flowers per umbel. A strong, sweet fragrance. Flowers last up to 7 days.
Sun exposure: Medium to bright indirect light.
Water requirement: Prefers well-drained loose mix. Water less in winter.
Maintenance: Low. Fertilise in growing period.
Special note: WAOL permitted. Easy to grow. Cool hoya: best suited to temperatures between 10-25C.
