Hoya nicholsoniae Cooper's Ck. IML 0353 H255

This beauty lives up to her reputation for stunning foliage!

A fast-growing, twining hoya, leaves measuring up to 15cm x 8cm with recurved edges (deflecting downwards towards the underside of the leaf). Medium green centrally with chocolate / purple blend towards the edges, veins light and visible. Leaves throw vivid red tones in brighter light.

Blooms: Glossy, reflexed gold-coloured flowers, 15mm in diameter, with yellow-centred cream corona. Up to 20 flowers per umbel. Lovely sweet fragrance. Flowers last up to 6 days.
Sun exposure: Requires bright and warm growing conditions. Flowers better under higher sunshine levels.
Water requirement: Keep moist in warmer months. Prefers well-draining open mix. Water less in winter.
Maintenance: Low. Half strength doses of fertiliser in growing period (warmer months).
Special note: WAOL permitted. An Australian native. Formerly H. pottsii Cooper's Creek IML 0353. Intermediate hoya: best suited to temperatures between 15-35C.
