Hoya pentaphlebia IML 0391 H249

A large-leafed beauty so named after its five prominent veins, clearly visible on both upper and lower sides of the leaves.

Outstanding foliage ranging from green to red, measuring up to 17cm x 12cm, with small amounts of scattered specks.

Blooms: Flat, star-shaped, yellow flowers, 12mm in diameter, with yellow-centred white corona. Up to 20 flowers per umbel. Small amounts of nectar produced. Lavender-like fragrance! Flowers last up to 3 days.
Sun exposure: Does best with a lot of light, especially to bring the gorgeous red tones out in the foliage.
Water requirement: Water moderately. Water less in winter.
Maintenance: Low. Fertilise in growing period.
Special note: WAOL permitted. Full name - Hoya pentaphlebia Philippines IML 0391. Intermediate hoya: best suited to temperatures between 15-35C.
