Hoya meliflua ssp. fraterna H154

The longest leaves of all hoyas – up to 60cm! Impressive dark green rubbery leaves generally measuring up to 45cm x 7.5cm. Blooms quickly and easily.

Rapid grower! Important to train growth before stems mature as it will be impossible to bend later on without damage. Requires sturdy support.

Blooms: Reflexed felted rose-pink flowers, measuring 15mm across, with yellow-centred dark pink corona. Up to 20 flowers per umbel. Butterfly attracting with an abundance of crimson-coloured nectar. Lovely butterscotch fragrance. Flowers last up to 7 days.
Sun exposure: Medium to bright indirect light. Loves humidity.
Water requirement: Prefers well-draining open mix. Water less in winter.
Maintenance: Low. Half strength doses of fertiliser in growing period.
Special note: IML 0124. Collector’s Number 103. WAOL permitted. White milky sap which can irritate the skin. Leaves have been recorded as reaching 60cm in length!
