Taking ‘wow’ to the next level, this species produces breathtaking, fragrant blooms.

Thick dark green leaves with prominent central vein, up to 20cm x 8cm.

Blooms: Incredible dark red cup-shaped flowers, measuring 55mm in diameter, with matching red corona. Up to 15 flowers per umbel. Flowers last up to 2 weeks. Strong fragrance reminiscent of expensive perfume.
Sun exposure: Best in bright indirect light. Flowers more readily in profuse light.
Water requirement: Prefers well-drained open mix. Keep reasonably dry in winter.
Maintenance: Low. Fertilise in growing period.
Special note: WAOL permitted. An Australian native. Intermediate hoya: best suited to temperatures between 15-35C.
