Absolutely outstanding flowers!

Dark green foliage, bushy growth habit, measuring up to 11cm x 3cm, with minimal splash. Non-twining - well suited to growing on a trellis.

Blooms: Drop-dead gorgeous dark orange-red flowers, pubescent, star-shaped and reflexed, 20mm in diameter, with lemon-centred darker red corona. Up to 20 flowers per umbel. Light, sweet fragrance. Flowers last up to 10 days.
Sun exposure: A shade-loving species.
Water requirement: Enjoys a good drink. Prefers to be misted regularly in hot weather. Do not allow to totally dry out. Water less in winter.
Maintenance: Low. Fertilise in growing period.
Special note: WAOL permitted. Immature foliage displays neon-yellow specks which mature into silver-green splash. Full name - Hoya lobbii Thailand 'orange'  IML 1524. Intermediate hoya: best suited to temperatures between 15-35C.
