A small species, well suited to a hanging basket with succulent, light green, pubescent leaves, measuring up to 5cm x 3cm, either round or ovate in shape and velvety in appearance.

Very rewarding species - flowers almost all year round.

Blooms: Teeny, revolute flowers, pretty pink up to 4mm in diameter, with yellow-centred red corona. Up to 15 flowers per umbel which looks flat and umbrella-like. Nectar producing. Sweet, caramel-like fragrance. Flowers last up to 5 days.
Sun exposure: Flowers well in bright, indirect light but must be protected from direct sunlight.
Water requirement: Water thoroughly and allow to dry out. Prefers well-draining open mix. Water less in winter.
Maintenance: Low. Half strength doses of fertiliser in growing period.
Special note: WAOL permitted. Full name - Hoya incurvula Sumatra IML 1163. Intermediate hoya: best suited to temperatures between 15-35C.
