Hoya flavescens IML 1117 H235

A thin-leafed hoya with slender, oval leaves, measuring up to 13cm x 4cm. Young leaves display beautiful pinkish-red hue before turning dark green.

Blooms: Butter-yellow flowers with pubescent edge, up to 16mm in diameter, with matching yellow corona. Up to 20 flowers per umbel. Flowers last up to 5 days.
Sun exposure: Flowers well in lots of bright, indirect light.
Water requirement: Likes more water than most hoyas on account of the thin leaves. Prefers well-drained, loose mix. Water less in winter.
Maintenance: Low. Half strength doses of fertiliser in growing period.
Special note: WAOL permitted. Full name - Hoya flavescens PNG IML 1117. Intermediate hoya: best suited to temperatures between 15-35C.
