The essence of Vanilla!

Thick, fleshy green leaves up to 20cm x 10cm in size. Flowers abundantly.

Blooms: Star-shaped rose-coloured flowers, measuring 20mm across, with dark pink corona. Nectar producing. Strong, sweet vanilla fragrance. Flowers last up to 14 days.
Sun exposure: Requires bright and warm growing conditions. Flowers better under higher sunshine levels.
Water requirement: Prefers well-draining mix. Water less in winter.
Maintenance: Low. Half strength doses of fertiliser in growing period.
Special note: WAOL permitted. Full name - Hoya excavata Celebes IML 1007. Intermediate hoya: best suited to temperatures between 15-35C.
