Hoya 'Chouke' H289

Everything about this cultivar is delightful, from its compact foliage to its prolific flowering habit.

Succulent, medium green leaves with almost no flecks, measuring 2.5cm x 2cm. Well suited to a trellis or hanging basket.

Blooms: Flat, pubescent, star-shaped flowers in white, up to 15mm in diameter, with orange-centred, white corona. Up to 15 flowers per umbel. Lovely sweet fragrance. Flowers last up to 5 days.
Sun exposure: Flowers well in lots of bright, indirect light.
Water requirement: Water thoroughly and allow to dry out considerably between waterings. Prefers well-drained loose potting mix. Water less in winter.
Maintenance: Low. Half strength doses of fertiliser in growing period.
Special note: WAOL permitted. A cross between H. carnosa and H. serpens. A sister to Hoya ‘Mathilde’. Cool hoya: best suited to temperatures between 10-25C.
