Hoya australis ssp. oramicola IML 0885 H219

Young leaves on this Aussie native start out thin but with maturity become thick, shiny, and  succulent, measuring up to 13cm x 4cm.

Moderately vigorous climbing species. Easy to grow.

Blooms: White star-shaped flowers, measuring 20mm, with small margin of red under a pale rose corona. Up to 40 flowers per umbel. Lovely sweet fragrance. Flowers last up to 7 days.
Sun exposure: Prefers bright, indirect light.
Water requirement: Prefers well-draining, loose mix. Water less in winter.
Maintenance: Low. Half strength doses of fertiliser in growing period.
Special note: WAOL permitted. Australian native - a Melville Island species. Warm hoya: best suited to temperatures between 21-35C.
