Hoya crassifolia China IML 0142 H228

Beautiful thick, succulent leaves measuring 14cm x 6cm with a small amount of silver fleck. Quite similar to H. carnosa but leaves tend to be more rounded.

Blooms: Star-shaped baby pink flowers, up to 20mm in diameter, with dark pink-centred cream corona. Up to 25 flowers per umbel. Sweet smelling fragrance. Flowers last up to 7 days.
Sun exposure: Flowers well in lots of bright, indirect light.
Water requirement: Water thoroughly and allow to dry out. Prefers well-drained loose potting mix. Water less in winter.
Maintenance: Low. Half strength doses of fertiliser in growing period.
Special note: WAOL permitted. Said to be synonymous with H. carnosa. Cool hoya: best suited to temperatures between 10-25C.
