Collector’s must-have!
Big, show-pony leaves that are 'turtle-shell' round, rigid and leathery, wonderful venation with subtle splash, measuring up to 15cm x 13cm. Foliage exposed to the sun becomes richly red and patterned.
Blooms: Delightful star-shaped flowers in golden-yellow hues, measuring 10mm, with lolly- pink corona. Up to 30 flowers per umbel. Light citrus fragrance. Flowers last for up to 5 days.
Sun exposure: Prefers bright indirect light. Loves heat and humidity.
Water requirement: Do not overwater. Prefers well-drained, open mix. Water less in winter.
Maintenance: Low. Fertilise in growing period.
Special note: Thought to be a Hoya vitellinoides x Hoya vitellina hybrid by Michael Miyashiro. Intermediate hoya: best suited to temperatures between 15-35C.
