Dischidia acuminata D24

A rare species with lovely foliage, long and slender leaves with concave tips tapering to sharp points.

Blooms: Dainty, bell-shaped white flowers, measuring 2mm in diameter which are easy to overlook, grow in clusters at the nodes especially during warmer months.
Sun exposure: Best in bright indirect light to showcase foliage.
Water requirement: Thrives on high levels of humidity. Mist foliage daily. Fairly drought tolerant. Water once the surface begins to show signs of dryness. Best in porous mix.
Maintenance: Low. Repot annually. Half strength doses of liquid fertiliser at the beginning of Spring and Summer.
Special note: Close relative to hoya. Used medicinally in Vietnam. Roots on this species are often very fine.

Each living plant is unique and may vary in size, colour, or shape depending on the season. Flowering plants are sent when available. Plants are sent bare-rooted.
