Here at Hoya Store Australia we like to fertilise our hoyas in three ways:

Worm Tea
Worm Tea is a fantastic Hoya conditioner! We make ours with our very own Hoya-house worm colony. Worm Tea can be easily diluted and misted onto both hoyas and dischidia - weekly in the warmer months of the year, and fortnightly during winter.

Control-Release Fertiliser
Firstly, we like to apply fertilising granules to the pot.  Our preference is for control-release fertiliser which is easy to use and provides all the essential nutrition necessary to promote beautiful blooms, lush foliage and strong root growth.
Utilising incredible CR technology, the rate of nutrient release increases in warmer months when the plant needs it most. We find it best to apply at the beginning of spring and again in the middle of summer. Gently work granules into the top layers of soil mix and water well.

Soluble Fertiliser
In addition to granular fertiliser, we love the regular application of soluble fertiliser as a foliar spray as it  helps speed up leaf growth, flowering and keeps your plants looking healthy:
# Bloom Booster, with higher levels of potassium, is used every 1-2 weeks in the warmer growing months
# Foliage Blaster, with higher levels of nitrogen, is used every 2-3 weeks during the cooler months

All three of these fertiliser options can be found under the Accessories tab at the top of the page.
