Auction #6: Hoya publicalyx Royal Hawaiian Purple H12

Under the hammer will be this exact plant; a very large, well-established specimen in a 250mm pot.

Lovely narrow leaves up to 18cm x 6cm, with glorious silver spangles. Stems and new growth is often a stunning dark purple. Flowers to die for!

Blooms: Lightly felted flowers ranging from purple to almost black, measuring 20mm across, with corona colours ranging from white to pink/purple. In the same umbel you may find purple, purple-black mottled and black flowers at the same time! Up to 30 flowers per umbel. A strong, sweet fragrance. Flowers last up to 7 days.
Sun exposure: Medium to bright indirect light.
Water requirement: Prefers well-drained gravelly mix. Water less in winter.
Maintenance: Low. Fertilise in growing period.
Special note: Collector’s Number 20. WAOL permitted. Easy to grow.
