Dischidia ovata Pandanus Creek IML 0445 D3

Gorgeous foliage! Mature leaves are a darker green colour with burgundy leaf margins, measuring up to 4cm x 2cm; thick, firm and waxy with prominent venation.

Elegant form – well suited to a hanging basket.

Blooms: Dainty, bell-shaped yellow-green flowers which grow especially during warmer months.
Sun exposure: Best in bright, indirect light to showcase foliage.
Water requirement: Thrives on high levels of humidity. Mist foliage daily. Allow soil to almost dry out before watering. Submerge in container of water until air bubbles dissipate or gently hose. Will not tolerate roots being overly damp.
Maintenance: Low. Repot annually. Half strength doses of liquid fertiliser at the beginning of Spring and Summer.
Special note: Full name - Dischidia ovata Pandanus Creek DL IML 0445. Close relative of hoya. Known as the ‘watermelon’ dischidia. WAOL permitted. Roots on this species are often very fine. Order limits apply.

Each living plant is unique and may vary in size, colour, or shape depending on the season. Flowering plants are sent when available. Plants are sent bare-rooted.
